The officers of this organization shall be a President, Vice President, Assistant Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer.  The five officers will also serve as the organization’s Board of Directors.  The officers shall hold office for one year terms.  Election of officers will take place at the annual meeting.  In the event of a vacancy on the Board of Directors, the remaining Directors shall appoint someone to fill the remainder of the vacant term.

The President shall preside at all meetings of the organization: acting ex-officio at all committee meetings: appoint committees as may be needed and maintain general supervision of all business of the organization.

The Vice President shall perform the duties of the President in his/her absence.  The Vice President will also serve as the organization’s parliamentarian and will be responsible for interpreting any questions regarding the organization’s bylaws, membership, and voting rights.

The Assistant Vice President shall perform the duties of the President in the absence of both the President and Vice President. In the absence of the Vice president, the Assistant Vice President shall serve as parliamentarian.

The Treasurer shall receive all fees, dues, assessments, grants, endowments, and donations, giving receipts for the same.  The Treasurer shall keep an account of all money received and paid through the office.  Accounts of the Treasurer shall be audited annually. The Treasurer shall maintain the list of all members and provide the Secretary with a list of all eligible regular members as well as a list of all associate and sponsor members annually.

The Secretary shall be responsible for creating and distributing annual dues invoices and other general correspondence to the membership.  The Secretary shall keep minutes and records of all meetings of the organization and of meetings of the Board of Directors.  The Secretary shall conduct general correspondence as directed by the President.

The Board of Directors-Members of this Board shall set the policies of the organization and ensure that they are fulfilled.  The Board shall also designate one of it’s members to represent the organization before local, state, or federal governmental bodies. The Board of Directors shall have the power to act between the Annual Meeting and Regular Board Meetings, provided that all Directors are notified at least 48 hours prior to the meeting and a quorum of at least three members is present.
